The Witch Doctor is an album by Art Blakey and his group The Jazz Messengers recorded on March 14, 1961 and released on the Blue Note label. It features performances by Blakey with Lee Morgan, Wayne Shorter, Bobby Timmons, and Jymie Merritt.

My first listen!! Thank you for the heads up. I've just been getting hip to Bobby Timmons and Wayne shorter through the Jazz sessions I have been participating in. Also I'm Heavy into Freddie.
Great session. It should be noted that although the album was recorded in 1961, it wasn't released until 1968.
